PVA consortium is an association of individuals and organisations brought together by a shared vision for the Visual Arts and with the objective of development and provision of a visual arts infrastructure in Plymouth.

Plymouth Visual Arts Consortium aims to contribute to:

- Lobbying for the Visual Arts
- Supporting and raising aspiration of Visual Artists
- Audience Development and Marketing of the Visual Arts
- Curatorial Networks, Research, Development and Practice
- Collaborating on major Visual Arts projects and developments across the city
